My second-to-last wedding at Playa Fiesta and things are getting sad. Lindsay, the wedding planner, is always perky and fun and I always feel at home when I shoot there. My time in Vallarta is winding down and right now I’m blogging from Portland, Oregon. On Wednesday I head back down south for two weeks to shoot a couple more weddings, pack up my apartment and wrap up this chapter in my life.
Ok, I won’t be gone from Vallarta for very long. I’ve got weddings booked down there in November and December, so if you are still looking for some Vallarta wedding photography shoot me an email.
Of course, more to come on the move and other Portland-shenanigans.
The wedding! Sian and Dave. I second shot for Elizabeth Lloyd on this one and I got another awesome groom to work with as usual. Dave is from Brooklyn (cool points) and his official job title is “Director of Curiosity” (finally a career out there I can aspire to).
On the way to Playa Fiesta I was telling Elizabeth about a complex equation created by some MIT folk that calculates the odds of someone finding their perfect match in the world. I couldn’t remember the name or much else about it.
BOOM! Dave gave a speech at dinner complete with diagrams and theatrics using that very same equation to show how infinitesimally small the odds were that he would sit next to Sian (a Londoner) on a greyhound bus to NYC.
Now, what are the odds that both of these would happen on the same day?
