Your friends will be jealous of your wedding photos.

August 31st, 2010

Amelia and Herman’s Day of the Dead, alterna-wedding, camping extravaganza.  Or at least that’s what I’m calling it.  It was awesome, from all the custom artwork, the flowers, hairpiece and boutonniere flown in from a friends farm on Oahu, and the restored vintage hearse that drove the two around.

The two looked like a couple of afterlife rock-stars.  The ceremony and reception were held on the edge of the Willamette River in Champoeg State Park.  I’ll update the post with a vendor list a little later.  For now enjoy the photos!

Flower girl escape!

Nerves!

Rollin’ to the wedding in a vintage hearse.  Scroll down to the hearse-photo-collage below for the deets.

Amelia had a belly dancer present her to Herman.

Afterlife rockstar.  What’d I tell ya?

Begin custom wedding art work…so dead…err, I mean dope!

The big one, a refrigerator magnet, currently on my fridge, the smaller ones…

…fierce buttons.

Signable guestbook poster.

They had two other couples join them to play the Newlywed Game in front of everyone.  I believe the question asked of Herman, that Amelia had to guess the answer to was, “What is the one thing that annoys you the most about your spouse?”   Hahaha I love Herman’s answer.  Amelia is such a good sport.  You know they’re a perfect match.

Name tattoos and a big F you to all the Hades Haterz out there : )
