Got a last minute call for an e-sesh a few weeks back. Seriously last minute. I think I was driving two and a half hours to Lincoln City for a wedding when I agreed to do a shoot at sunrise the next day with Treveé and Avery.
Two things I’m into: enthusiastic couples and taking pictures. With little in the way of planning Treveé and Avery had one request, rural over urban, and I knew right where I was going to take them. I drove into Portland a little after midnight and got up a few hours later to shoot.
Whenever a fellow photographer asks you to shoot for them I always take that as a huge compliment and rightly, if I know someone appreciates what I do I’m going to work extra hard for them.
BOOM. Ok, I’m headed to Mexico on Friday to shoot a wedding and a TTD. The bride, Heather, is super into Holgas, as am I, and we’re gonna try some kindred, trash-the-dress, underwater, Holga photo action.
More to come on my backlog of Holga photography that is finally getting scanned and edited. I’ll have a post up for you next week from a Mexican cemetery in honor of the upcoming Day of the Dead weekend.
For now enjoy the photos below of Treveé and Avery’s super sav e-sesh!
