Lomo – Portland, Oregon

March 9, 2010

Tooootally bringing all the film stuff out of the bag and onto the blog.  Shot all of these last summer with my TLR, a la this past blog post. My homie Beej, rocks the photos like an all-star and brought along her Diana F+ for some 120 film-fun.  Whenever Beej gets around to developing the roll of film she shot that day *cough cough I’ll a post some photos of myself.

I’ve mentioned before how I’ve taken this time off between January and early April from weddings to work on some personal projects.  The new Broshot brand and logo is finished, thanks to designer, Ed Fladung, and I’ll be unveiling that shortly.  The new blog is in the works, and I’m researching two additional blog projects; one photo related, one not.

Lomo – Portland, Oregon

February 26, 2010

Yo people!  Like I’ve mentioned before I’ve been taking this time off, among other things, to go back through a lot of personal stuff I’ve shot over the last year, get it edited, and get it up!

Yes, I realize this all looks a little too sunny for Portland in February, (although you wouldn’t know it from the weather we had last week).  This series of photos was taken on a photo outing when my friend Andrea was visiting from NYC.  She brought her Diana and I brought my at-the-time brand new TLR.

Lomo and double-exposure was the theme of the day.

Nevada City and the Yuba River Lomo

December 23, 2009

More warm looking photos for your cold December days; shot on film, scanned and uploaded.

Babes beware.  You can check out more photos of us hot, less-than-sparkly laxers playing games like beef volleyball in some previous posts.  (Yes I called it that.  A freudian slip on beach volleyball)

The Broshot Lifestyle – Lake Tahoe Lomography

December 21, 2009

I shot all of this on film with my TLR this past summer.  My shoulder sidelined my lax career for the week but it didn’t stop the pictures from the taking.

Just relivin’ the glorious days with my bros.  Shirts off, we look a little less sparkly, than in years pass, but as time fades, so do the memories, and beer guts become the new six-packs.  So no worries.  All’s right in the world yet again.

You can check out some of the digital lax action here on my blog and some boys-of-summer-esque rowdiness here, here and here.

Trash the Dress – Heather and Kyle’s Holgas

December 15, 2009

Well, this is the last of Heather and Kyle’s posts.  Yesterday I put up some of their trash-the-dress photos, and these are their Holgas from that same day.  I shot four rolls and I decided to share some of the Black and Whites.   The first two below I shot underwater.

You can check out Heather and Kyle’s wedding-day Holgas here, their wedding photos at Las Caletas here and their trash-the-dress photos in Bucerías here.
