Amelia and Herman’s Day of the Dead, alterna-wedding, camping extravaganza.  Or at least that’s what I’m calling it.  It was awesome, from all the custom artwork, the flowers, hairpiece and boutonniere flown in from a friends farm on Oahu, and the restored vintage hearse that drove the two around.

The two looked like a couple of afterlife rock-stars.  The ceremony and reception were held on the edge of the Willamette River in Champoeg State Park.  I’ll update the post with a vendor list a little later.  For now enjoy the photos!

I met up with Jamie and Adam twice even though they were living halfway across the country, once at the Alberta Street Tea House and again a few weeks before their wedding day at Prost on Mississippi, and each time I knew their wedding was going to be a lot of fun.

Jamie and Adam both have such a natural energy and presence and they both wanted amazing photos.  I often tell my brides and grooms that this is EXACTLY what you need.  I will for sure bring the energy and knack for incredible photos, and if you bring it too, then we’re going to create something awesome together!

On top of that, the positive (or negative) energy of the bride and groom is what all the guests cue off of and, from Jamie and Adam, it was ALL positive!

Hey y’alls!  Got a quick sneak peak of M+J’s sweet wedding in Newport.  I just keep getting awesome couples that match my energy for sweet photos!  For M+J’s photos we started out at rustic beach houses in Lincoln City, shot at the beach halfway between there and Newport, shot at Newport’s historic bay front, then dipped out after dinner to get some shots on the Yaquina Bay Bridge at sunset.  Amazing stuff and thanks for the enthusiasm guys!  The full post in a few weeks is gonna rock!

Just finished this guy up and felt it worthy of it’s own post!  Amelia and Herman chose an antique hearse for their sweet wedding-day wheels.  Shots to come of the actual wedding and, of course, Amelia and Herman.  ”Hermelia” were as cool as the hearse they rode in on, eh yo!
